To get the most out of this trigger on a Sony system, you need to ensure your camera settings are properly dialed in. First, Sony cameras generally require you to turn Silent Shooting (Electronic Shutter) OFF to trigger an external flash; you must use the mechanical or electronic front-curtain shutter. Additionally, ensure your camera's flash mode is set to "Fill Flash" for proper operation.

It is also important to note that while the Connect Pro can trigger and sync with older Profoto Air lights (like the original B1 or D1), the absolute power readout feature requires communication with newer Profoto lights equipped with AirX technology or the D2 series. When using older legacy strobes, the screen will still display standard relative power adjustments (+/- stops).
