Because this modifier utilizes the magnetic Clic system, it is exclusively designed for Profoto's compact A-series flashes. You cannot mount this stripbox onto traditional Profoto studio heads (like the D2, B1X, or B10) which use the larger, rubber-clasp OCF or RFi mounting systems.

Additionally, because of the narrow nature of a stripbox, the light is highly directional. If you are shooting in extremely tight spaces or against a wall, you may still get a minor amount of sideways spill. For the absolute maximum amount of light control—especially for dark, moody portraiture—it is highly recommended to pair this modifier with the separately sold Profoto Clic Softgrid 1x3'.
