Tailor-made for on-location portrait and fashion photographers, this modifier utilizes a suspended central deflector plate to bounce the flash output back into the modifier before pushing it forward. This creates the signature beauty dish look: a creamy, wrapping light with crisp edges that highlights cheekbones, illuminates makeup, and creates beautiful, round catchlights, all while packing down completely flat into your camera bag.

Things to Note

Because this is an OCF (Off-Camera Flash) modifier, it is engineered strictly for Profoto's battery-powered flashes equipped with flat glass fronts and cool-running LED modeling lights (such as the B10, B10X, B1, B1X, and B2). You must not mount this modifier on traditional studio strobes with protruding glass domes or hot halogen modeling lamps (like the D1 or D2), as the intense heat will melt the fabric.

Additionally, out of the box, you cannot attach this to your flash. You are required to purchase the separate Profoto OCF Speedring to mount the rods and connect the beauty dish to your strobe.
