It is crucial to understand the difference between Profoto's modifier ecosystems. This is the OCF Speedring, meaning it is designed exclusively for the lightweight OCF Softboxes and OCF Beauty Dishes. The hole sizes and rod angles are entirely different from the RFi system; it will not accept the rods from Profoto's heavier, studio-grade RFi softboxes.

Additionally, this speedring and the OCF modifiers it supports are engineered exclusively to handle the cool operating temperatures of battery-powered flashes equipped with LED modeling lights. You must not use this speedring to mount softboxes on traditional AC-powered studio strobes (like the D2 or ProHeads) that utilize hot 500W halogen continuous bulbs, as the intense heat will melt the lightweight components.
