If you are new to the Profoto ecosystem, it is vital to understand how the RFi system differs from the newer models. Out of the box, you cannot attach this softbox to your flash. You are absolutely required to purchase a separate Profoto RFi Speedring that matches your specific flash brand. Furthermore, this softbox requires manual assembly by threading the eight metal rods into the speedring under tension, meaning it is better suited for a permanent studio setup rather than being packed away constantly for location shoots.

If you shoot entirely on location with battery-powered flashes (like the B10 or B30) and prioritize fast, umbrella-style setup, you should look at the newer Profoto Softbox Octa series with integrated speedrings or the lightweight OCF Octa line instead.
