The ProMaster 67mm Basis Variable Neutral Density (VND) Filter gives you control over the amount of light reaching your camera's sensor, offering adjustable light reduction from 2 to 8 stops.
A neutral density (ND) filter helps manage exposure by limiting the light entering your lens. Unlike fixed ND filters, a variable ND filter lets you adjust light reduction by simply rotating the filter ring, providing a range of settings in a single filter.
A variable ND filter is useful for both photography and video. In still photography, reducing incoming light allows for slower shutter speeds to create motion blur, such as giving flowing water a smooth, flowing appearance. For video, it helps maintain proper exposure when using a wide aperture in bright conditions, making it easier to achieve a shallow depth of field while keeping your desired shutter speed.
All ProMaster Basis filters feature matching front and rear thread sizes, allowing you to use your lens cap and stack compatible filters of the same size.
The Basis series combines reliable optical performance with an affordable price, making it a practical addition to your camera kit.
