Its Guide Number of 36m means it is excellent for indoor bounce flash, on-camera event work, and close-range fill lighting, but it will struggle to overpower the sun if placed in a large modifier from 15 feet away.

Additionally, to get the advertised 2.2-second recycle time, you must use high-quality rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (like Panasonic Eneloop Pros). Using standard alkaline batteries will result in significantly slower recycle times and fewer overall flashes per set.
