The most crucial step before printing on this paper is checking your printer settings. For the printer to lay down the correct amount of ink, you must open your computer's print dialog box and change the "Media Type" from Plain Paper to Photo Paper Plus Glossy II. You must also ensure the paper size is explicitly set to 5x7 Borderless to prevent the printer from leaving awkward white margins around your image.

Secondly, this paper is single-sided. The ultra-glossy, printable surface is noticeably smoother and brighter than the back, which often features faint Canon watermarks. Always ensure you load the paper into your printer's tray with the glossy side facing the correct direction for your specific printer model (usually glossy-side down in bottom cassettes, and glossy-side up in rear feed trays).
