This is a Carl Zeiss Distagon 40mm f/4 C Wide Angle Hasselblad V Lens.
This lens is in good working order and in great cosmetic condition. There is some light internal debris in the front element which should not affect image quality due to the size of the optic. The rear element has very light internal scratching that again should not affect image quality due to the nature of this wide-angle lens. The optics are otherwise free and clean of haze and fungus. Cosmetic wear on the exterior of the lens is virtually unnoticeable. See photos for detail.
All shutter speeds are tested and in good working order, as is the aperture mechanism. The couples mechanism between the shutter and aperture is in good working order as well. Comes with both OEM lens caps and the original leather case.
