Nikon Z 7II Mirrorless Digital Camera with NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Lens
The Ultimate High-Resolution Kit for Landscapes and Studio
For professional landscape photographers, commercial studio shooters, and fine-art creators who demand ultimate resolution without the bulk of a traditional DSLR, the Nikon Z 7II paired with the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S is a masterclass in optical engineering. The Z 7II body retains the stunning 45.7-megapixel sensor of its predecessor but introduces Dual EXPEED 6 image processors, significantly enhancing the camera's speed, buffer depth, and autofocus capabilities.
By pairing this high-resolution powerhouse with the premium 24-70mm f/4 "S-Line" zoom lens, Nikon has created a highly versatile, incredibly sharp kit that is ready to tackle everything from sweeping vistas to detailed commercial portraiture right out of the box, all while remaining surprisingly compact and travel-friendly.
Why You'll Love This Kit
-
Premium S-Line Optics: The included 24-70mm f/4 is part of Nikon's high-end "S-Line." It delivers stunning edge-to-edge sharpness, minimal distortion, and excellent contrast across the entire zoom range, fully resolving the massive 45.7 megapixels of the camera's sensor. The constant f/4 aperture ensures your exposure stays consistent as you zoom.
-
45.7MP BSI Sensor: The backside-illuminated full-frame sensor features no optical low-pass filter, maximizing pure detail. With a base ISO of 64, it allows for incredibly clean highlight recovery and massive cropping potential, making it perfect for large gallery prints.
-
Dual EXPEED 6 Processors: The dual engines allow the camera to shoot at up to 10 frames per second with a significantly deeper buffer than the original Z7 (up to 77 lossless compressed RAW files), ensuring you never miss a moment even at ultra-high resolutions.
-
Advanced 493-Point AF System: The hybrid phase-detect/contrast-detect autofocus system covers 90% of the frame. It features highly effective Eye-Detection and Animal-Detection AF that locks on tenaciously to keep subjects tack-sharp.
-
Dual Memory Card Slots: Built for professional workflow reliability, Slot 1 accepts ultra-fast CFexpress Type B (or XQD) cards, while Slot 2 takes widely available SD (UHS-II) cards for instant in-camera backups or overflow storage.
-
5-Axis In-Body Stabilization: The sensor-shift VR (Vibration Reduction) system provides up to 5 stops of shake correction. This is crucial for a high-resolution sensor, allowing you to shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds without introducing micro-blur into your highly detailed images.

Things to Note
Because of the massive 45.7-megapixel resolution, your file sizes will be incredibly large. You will need to ensure your computer has the processing power and storage capacity to handle hundreds of 50MB+ RAW files.
While the included 24-70mm f/4 S is phenomenally sharp, its f/4 maximum aperture won't provide the extreme background blur (bokeh) or the ultimate low-light light-gathering capabilities of a faster, much heavier f/2.8 zoom lens.
Finally, the rear LCD screen on the Z 7II only tilts up and down. It does not fully articulate or flip forward. While this is generally preferred by landscape and studio photographers because it keeps the screen directly on the optical axis of the lens, it makes the camera less ideal for vlogging or taking selfies.
