While the a7 V is a massive leap forward, to unlock its absolute maximum performance—specifically the continuous 30 fps burst shooting and the highest quality All-Intra 4K video recording—you will need to use a fast and expensive CFexpress Type A memory card in Slot 1. Relying solely on SD cards will limit your buffer depth and video bitrate options.
Additionally, while the camera does offer 4K video at 120 frames per second for beautiful slow motion, it does so with a Super35 (1.5x) crop. This means your lenses will appear significantly more "zoomed in" when shooting in 4K/120p, which you will need to account for if you are trying to shoot wide-angle slow motion.
